Stockholm

• Stockholm offers so much
• Easy transport access from the airport to the city
• You will be able to indulge in your love of ABBA – great for group activities

First things first – if you are working to a tight event budget then Stockholm is probably not for you. But if efficiency, quality, variety and infrastructure are more important than cost, the city offers all of these in spades.

The Arlanda Express is a dream. Airport to city centre in just twenty minutes, on a train that runs every 15 minutes. The hotels are generally modern, stylish and comfortable, with meeting space of various shapes and sizes to suit your event.

Whilst Sweden promotes “wholesome living” – check out the breakfast buffets – the great news for delegates is that “Fika” is still an institution. Unique to Sweden, it means “have a break” and is all about a relaxing coffee and cake.

With Stockholm’s fourteen islands and 57 bridges you’re never far from water. Whether you are walking, cycling or Segwaying, the backdrop is spectacular. And during downtime, you could enjoy a leisurely private cruise or go ‘hands on’ with fishing, sailing or RIB activities.

But what’s unique about Stockholm? One word. ABBA! You could indulge your guilty pleasure with a visit to ABBA: The Museum where your team can perform on stage with holograms of the band – and, naturally, record it for posterity (and much amusement).

And if that isn’t enough then ABBA: The Party is simply awesome! Based on the mega successful Mama Mia, this live dinner and show brings an idyllic Greek island to the Baltic – dress appropriately – and then turns into a ‘70s disco later on so you can strut your best moves!

And it’s not just ABBA. High class restaurants, a diverse social scene and the ICE Bar mean you’re guaranteed to find something that will delight your delegates!
